I'm glad you came to visit my blog. My name is Latoya and I crochet several items. I live in NC, and have one teenage son. I have always been an creative person. But I feel with any business you have to do your research first before you jump out there.
Here are some crochet items that I feel are very popular for 2020:
1. Crochet face mask (coverings)- I know you are probally thinking "what?", but due to the pandemic people who craft have been making a lot of sales. I had more orders for this product so I had to list it as number 1 in my list.
2. Bracelets and necklace sets- With my research I have seen several bracelet and necklace sets on Pinterest, Facebook and even Twitter. With me I add a little sparkle to my sets with beads, pearls, or even pendants at the bottom of the necklaces.
3. Face scrubbies- Some people may not know what a face scrubby is, I know I didn't know at first. These products are usually round and could be used to take off make-up or just wash your face. One thing I like about it is that they are washable, and much greener! No more buying disposable face wipes!
4. Crochet bikini and brallettes- At first I didn't think this was popular, but do a Y
outube search on it and bunches of videos will appear on how to make them. I started with the crochet crop tops and bralletes.
5. Crochet bowls, baskets, etc. - These will require more time but it does pay off! I haven't made one of these yet but do see it is trending on lots of social media platforms.
